Community Groups - Acts 2:42Community Group pilot program is starting in September or October 2011 We intend that our Community
Groups will be the primary vehicle for discipleship at East Brandywine
Baptist Church. We will gather in geographically based groups on the
second Saturday of each month. We are commited to helping people become
increasingly devoted followers of Jesus Christ and we believe community
groups are an ideal place for this mission to be accomplished. Come and
have a meal with friends and neighbors, experience the gospel, wrestle
with the truths of the Bible, love one another, and together participate
in the mission

Men's Ministry - Man UpCol 3:1-2 "If then you have been raised up with Christ , Keep seeking the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on the earth." East Brandywine Baptist Church's Men's Ministry aims to challenge and encourage men as they walk with Christ, in Christian Fellowship and leadership! Our men focus on " things above," thus allowing them to be the husbands, fathers, church leaders, and the men of God that they are called to be. Our goal is for men to get real with God and other men. We highlight prayer and accountability and challenge one another not to just survive but thrive as image bearers and agents of transformation for Jesus, our Model Hero and King.

MusicThe purposes of the Music Ministry at East Brandywine are to worship God through music and to draw the congregation into a deeper understanding and relationship with God. The Music Ministry prepares and shares music that meets the church's goal of blended worship by combining traditional and contemporary styles and selections. The Sanctuary Choir performs most Sundays during the school year and performs two Cantatas per year (Christmas and Easter). Practice is on Thursday with a general practice starting at 7PM and Cantata practice starting at 8PM. Any age is welcome from 12 years and older. For instrumentalists and vocalists, our Praise Team is a great place to use your talents. Currently the team utilizes Drums, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard and Piano. We are always open to other instruments! Our Vocalists are put on Teams and Serve in leading the Congregation during our Sunday Morning Worship Times. The "KID'S CHORALE" is directed by Pat Wiggins and they meet every Sunday evening during the school year, for practice from 6:00-7:00PM. Besides singing praises to Jesus which is our main focus; at times we play games, learn music fundamentals, play rhythm instruments, listen to a story, and "always" have a treat! We sing, at least one time a month, in the Sunday morning, 10:45AM service and will sometimes be singing in the Adult evening service. Our commitment is to sing joyously and happily to our Saviour. |
