John and Julie’s objective in their field ministry is to enable believers to work together to encourage, disciple, nurture and strengthen one another in their faith, and to encourage the national churches of Central America to embrace the Great Commission and help them to develop a program for evangelism, outreach, and church planting.  Their goal is also to give people a hands-on missionary experience through short-term missions projects.  Part of the work includes assembling portable churches within three to four days with ministry taking place concurrently.
