“The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many.”  Mark 10:48

A new school year is here!  I know because the back to school commercials have been reminding us for months now.  As your family coordinates schedules, makes plans for the year ahead  and steps into a new routine, prayerfully consider how together you will serve one another, the community and the church this year!  Saved people serve people!

You can help the church as we strive for excellence in worshiping God and reaching our community by participating in our Sunday morning teaching and music, creating positive first impressions through a welcoming environment and caring well for kids.  Here are ways you can help us be a church that worships God, reaches out and grows together!

Worship Team
Our Worship Team will be meeting Thursday night, September 1, at 6:45p in the church auditorium to set up for the next year.  We are looking for those gifted musically or with technical AV skills

  1.  2-4 Computer operators:  This is the Worship Team’s biggest need (must be available Wednesdays and Sundays the weeks you serve.)  Skills needed: Flexibility, Musicality, Knowledge of the Songs, Computer skills.
  2. Flex Musicians: Flex team members serve only the weeks they are available but provide a variety of instrumentation.  Current Flex instruments include guitar, cello and harmonica.  We are open to adding violin, flute, brass instruments or other.

Hospitality Teams
The Hospitality teams (Parking attendance, Greeters, Welcome / Coffee center and Ushers) play the important role of guaranteeing a good first impression to everyone who attends on a Sunday.  Join this team to show God’s love to others every Sunday!

  1. 2-4 Parking attendants needed (serving every other month)
  2. 2-4 Ushers needed (serving every other month)
  3. New greeters and welcome/coffee center workers always welcome!

ebbcTEENs and AWANA
There are many other ways to serve at EBBC.  ebbcTEENS on Wednesdays, Sunday evenings, and AWANA on Wednesdays are just a few ways you can serve.  If you can be a mentor to teens, let Pastor Josh (pastorjoshpark@gmail.com) know you’re interested in joining the Youth Staff.  Ken Baker (ebbcawana@comcast.net) would love to have you serve on Wednesdays as AWANA aims to reach family in the community each week!
